OOC: Permissions/Opt Out
OOC PERMISSIONS
Player: Caitie
Preferred Contact:
agentmaine or discord: Caitie#6024
Backtagging: Always and forever.
Fourthwalling policy: I'm generally game for it, since One Piece is a big series, but definitely run it by me first!
Action vs. Prose: I default to action brackets but am absolutely fine with prose if you prefer it!
Offensive Subjects & Triggers: I'm generally fine with whatever as long as it happens organically.
IC PERMISSIONS
Physical Violence: I'm fine with it as long as you're fine with Law retaliating with his bullshit powers. No permission necessary, go ahead and hit him.
Mental Information: Feel free to read Law's mind just know he's bottling a lot of stuff up and it's probably terrible in there. That said, if you are going to, give me a heads up first! That way I can let you know what you'd find.
Physical Affection: OOC? Please, go for it. Law has a lot of problems and could use a hug. ICly don't expect great results unless you slowly introduce it because heaps of childhood trauma have turned Law into a human hedgehog.
IC Triggers: One of Law's hobbies is creeping people out with body horror nonsense, he's fine. Go nuts.
Relationships: I AM ALL FOR IT I just can't promise it will be supereasy because again, human hedgehog.
POWER-SPECIFIC AND/OR SPOILER PERMISSIONS
Law's abilities are kind of stupid in what they can potentially do, particularly in regards to body horror. His ability comes from eating a devil fruit like most people in One Piece (You can read about the particulars if you like here) and centers around him creating a "Room," a dome within which he can control matter, essentially. His abilities only work within the confines of Room.
Of particular note are the techniques Amputate and Shambles. Law can cut things/people without otherwise damaging them with Amputate, and can "swap" things with Shambles, resulting in shit like swapping a marine's head with a canon ball. I'm aiming to be careful about overstepping when using any of Law's abilities, any will always ask you before using any of them on your character beforehand, but if you're sensitive to body horror, you might want to opt out of these preemptively.
SO, leave me a comment if you don't want Law to use one or both of these techniques on your character!
